The Marine Corps Marathon is an annual event to support the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is an organization dedicated to supporting the children of current and former Marines through scholarships. You can donate to the Marine Corps Marathon online by either sponsoring a specific runner or donating to the general scholarship fund.
Instructions
Sponsor Runner
1. Go to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation homepage (See Resources).
2. Click the "Sponsor Runner" button.
3. Enter the first and last name of the runner in the appropriate fields. Click the "Search" button to locate the runner.
4. Select the runner you want to sponsor from the list of runners who match your search criteria.
5. Enter your donor information including your name, address and phone number. Enter your payment information. Requested information includes your credit card details and billing address.
6. Click the "Submit" button to send your donation to support a specific runner in the Marine Corps Marathon.
General Donation
7. Go to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation homepage (See Resources).
8. Click the "General Donation" button.
9. Select your donation level or enter a specific amount of money you want to donate in the text box. Click the "Continue" button.
10. Enter your donor information including your name, address and phone number. Enter your billing information. Requested information includes your credit card details and billing address.
11. Click the "Submit" button to send your donation to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation's general fund.
