Find Ironman Fitness Parts

When a piece of exercise equipment breaks, it can seriously disrupt your workout regime. Getting it fixed quickly is important to staying on track with your fitness goals. This is especially true for Ironman Fitness equipment (including treadmills, bikes ellipticals), which many individuals use to train for Ironman triathlons. Since finding the appropriate parts is half the battle in fixing your machine, follow these steps to quickly locate Ironman Fitness parts:

Instructions

1. Identify the part to be replaced. The best way to do this is to compare the part you want to replace with the assembly guide in the owner's manual for your specific piece of equipment. If you do not have an owner's manual, one is available at the Ironman Fitness website (www.ironmanfitness.com), under the "Service" section. You will need to know your product category and model number to find the right manual.

2. Contact the Ironman Fitness technical service department, especially if your product is still under warranty. Click "Contact us" and under "Subject" select "parts ordering/tech support/warranty info." In the message box, explain which part you are trying to replace; if your warranty is current, there is a good chance the defective part will be replaced by the company free of charge.

3. Visit websites such as eBay or Craigslist and search for "Ironman Fitness." There may be individual parts for sale. But more likely there may be a whole piece of equipment on sale from which your intended part may be scavenged.

4. Contact local fitness equipment repair shops. Often, these types of businesses can be found in your local phone book. Search your yellow pages for "fitness equipment repair." Call a number of places, if available, to shop for a reasonable price.
