You will have to either choose yourself as to where to go or get feedback from locals and or hotel staff as to what they think.


3. You will be donning a costume of your own choice to enjoy New Orleans Halloween. So pick something that is distinctly you or not you. The sky is the limit concerning that special costume. You can rent a costume or buy one from a store.


4. The fun part about experiencing Halloween in New Orleans is evident. You should embrace the unknown with open arms. Visitors and locals alike revel in all that Halloween stands for in this special town. Be open to going to a bar or eatery in the French Quarter that welcomes costumed guests. Halloween on Frenchmen Street is the place to be for total fun. However, there are also clubs for great music and why not if you wish to escape the flocking crowds. Many businesses also host costume contests where you can win cash prizes. Some of the other Halloween spots to be include the Louisiana Pharmacy Museum, the Ghostly Gallivant in the French Quarter and Rosy's Jazz Hall.


5. You will be able to create nothing but good haunting memories while experiencing Halloween in New Orleans. Get a disposable camera to take many photos if you do not bring a camcorder or digital camera along with you during your stay. Also, make sure to buy some haunting souvenirs to bring back with you for family and friends. There are many souvenir shops where you can purchase a tee shirt or in the French Quarter and or on Canal Street. You can even purchase something at one of the many Voodoo shops in New Orleans.
