Create A Profile On Xbox 360 Using A Usb Cord

Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles use a gamer profile system to store user preferences and game data. You can create a new profile in the Xbox 360 main menu ("dashboard") at any time using your controller. You can connect your controller to the Xbox 360 via a USB cord and use it to create a new profile on your Xbox 360.


Instructions


1. Connect one end of the USB cable to your controller and the other end to the Xbox 360 console. Turn on the Xbox 360 and wait for the dashboard to load.


2. Move the analog stick to the right and select the "System" tab then press the "A" button. Select "User Profiles " and press "A" again. Select "Create New Profile" then press "A" to confirm your selection. Type a name for your new profile and select a gamer picture that will be displayed alongside the name. Select "Save Changes" and press "A" when finished to save your new profile.


3. Restart the Xbox 360 and select your new profile from the dashboard menu. You new user profile on the Xbox 360 can be deleted at any time from the "Memory" menu under the "System" dashboard tab.
