Convert A Cd Player To An Mp3 Car Player

Listen to MP3 music on your car stereo.

MP3 players are capable of holding hundreds more songs than a standard CD and are also smaller in size. Although brand new vehicles are coming with built-in hard drives so you can upload music to the system, older vehicle don't have this feature. If you want to play MP3 files in your vehicle, you need to convert the CD player to an MP3 car player.

Instructions

1. Insert the 3.5 mm cable into the headphone jack of the MP3 player. Insert the opposite end of the cable into the "AUX" port on the CD player. Once connected, power on the MP3 player and the CD stereo. Press "Aux" on the stereo and play a desired song. The audio now plays through the CD stereo's speaker system.

2. Insert the MP3-to-CD adapter into the CD drive of your stereo system if no Aux port is available. This adapter looks like a CD and inserts into the player. However, a cable runs out one side of it and hooks up with your MP3 player.

3. Plug the 3.5 mm cable running out of the MP3-to-CD adapter into the headphones jack on your MP3 player.

4. Set your car stereo to "CD" and press "Play" on the car stereo. Choose a song you want to listen to from the MP3 player. The audio will play through the car's speaker system.
