Some of the toughest cases in the country are treated at St. Jude's.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital treats children who suffering from serious illnesses such as leukemia. The hospital is also a leader in research to cure such illnesses. St. Jude relies on donations to fund operations and research. No child is turned away for inability to pay for treatment, and ongoing donations maintain its pace of research.
Instructions
1. Give yourself or someone else a gift that gives back. Purchase items from the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Hope Gift Book (see Resources). All profits directly benefit the hospital.
2. Send a tribute or memorial donation (see Resources). Choose from e-cards or cards that will be mailed to the recipient stating that a donation has been made in memory of or in tribute to someone; many of these cards feature artwork drawn by patients.
3. Choose wedding favors that benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (see Resources). Choose from bookmarks or scrolls; the items can be personalized with the bride and groom's names.
