Customize Trophies

Trophies

Trophies are a great memento to commemorate a sports season or special event. A customized trophy is even better. Years from now, it will remind the person of the event and his part in the outcome. You can consider a lot of options when it comes to customizing trophies. What you choose will depend on the type of event and the people participating. Picking the right one and taking the time to customize it correctly will make it a memorable moment.

Instructions

1. Pick a date that you need the trophy by. You will need to make sure you order the trophy far enough in advance to get it on time for your award ceremony. The amount of time it takes to make the trophies depends on the type and number you select.

2. Choose the trophy design you want. Is it for a sporting event? If so, choose a design that represents that sport. Is it for a project? For something like that, choose a simple design such as a star or flame that is universal. On many trophies, you can upload your logo and have it put on the face of a simple trophy.

3. Pick what base you want for your trophy. They usually come in wood, metal, acrylic or plastic.

4. Select what color you want for the plaque on your trophy. The plaque is where the wording you choose will appear.

5. Decide what you want the first few lines of the plaque on your trophy to say. If it's for a sporting event, you probably want it to mention the event: "All-Star Champions," "MVP," for example. If it's for academics or a project, mention the grade or contest: "2009 Science Fair," "2009 Debate," "1st Place, Junior Costume."

6. Personalize the trophy by adding the person's name under the event information.

7. Order online or go to a local trophy store.
