Breitling bracelets are recognized among watch enthusiasts for their suppleness and finish quality. However, like all metal bracelets, accumulated gunk and grime requires removal. Failure to do so may cause these contaminants along with black stainless residue to come off on your clothes. Additionally, the fit and finish of the bracelet may become compromised from the accumulation of the dirt, oil and fluids that call the space between the links home. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
1. Mix a solution of mild hand or dish soap and tepid water in a shallow dish.
2. Dip the soft toothbrush into the mix. Gently brush the inside of the bracelet, bending it to expose the edges of each link. Get under the watch clasp and other small spaces for a thorough cleaning.
3. Rinse the brush, and dip it again in the soap mixture. Brush the outside of the bracelet in the same manner as the inside.
4. Rinse the watch and bracelet under a gentle stream of warm water. Blot the piece dry with the clean cloth.
5. Wipe the watch and bracelet with the polishing cloth to restore the luster and remove residual water spots.
