Oakley Half Jacket sunglasses have lenses that can be switched out and replaced with a variety of colored lenses. The sunglasses come with one pair of lenses, and additional ones can be purchased directly from Oakley or from authorized dealers. Changing Half Jacket lenses can be a little tricky, but it gets easier after you have tried it a few times. Instructions
1. Grasp the sunglasses with your left hand and position them in front of you so that you can see the front of the glasses. Orient your index finger so that the base of your finger lies on top of the frame directly above the nose piece and your thumb curls around the front of the glasses below the nose piece. Grasp the part of the left lens closest to the nose piece with your right hand.
2. Rotate the inside half of the lens downward while gently flexing the top of the frame with your left hand. Continue rotating the lens downward, then pull the outer lens tab out of the temple groove of the frame. Set the lens aside.
3. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 to remove the right lens, reversing your hand positions.
4. Grasp the replacement lens and fit the outer lens tab into the temple groove in the frame. Rotate the lens upward so that the inner lens tab aligns with the groove in the frame near the nose bridge. Rotate the lens upward so that the lens aligns with the groove in the frame.
5. Flex the top of the frame slightly while pressing upward on the lens until it snaps into place. Consider using the hand positioning that you used to remove the lens. The inner lens tab has a slot that it must go into in order to secure the lens in place. You must flex the frame slightly in order to set the tab in place.
6. Repeat the process with the other lens. Reverse the hand positioning in order to facilitate the installation process.
7. Clean the lenses with your microfiber bag or other microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints and smudges.
